Our organization was incorporated on November 1, 2005 to promote this area through service to the community. LaSalle PRIDE has worked to make the community a better place for families to grow and prosper through community cleanups, beautification efforts and studying our local history through our history committee.
The former village of LaSalle, New York was annexed as a major part
of the City of Niagara Falls in 1927 but there remains a pride in the
distinctions that this area here above the American Falls has to offer
to residents and visitors alike. These pages hope to confirm this
feeling and enlighten all who visit our site and community.

In 2004 the Griffon historical marker stone was moved by the LaSalle PRIDE community organization from its former location near curb-side along Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, New York about 500 feet to the east to where it presently resides at Griffon Park.
