Library cards are free for Lantana residents and residents of the members of the Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches (www.coala.org). This includes Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Park, Lake Worth, North Palm Beach, Palm Springs, and West Palm Beach.
Please note that residents in the west part of Palm Beach County are largely serviced by the Palm Beach County Library system at www.pbclibrary.org.
The towns or cities of Palm Beach, Highland Beach, Boca Raton, or Highland Beach are not part of the Cooperative. Residents of these areas are considered non-residents for purposes of obtaining a Lantana Public Library card.
To obtain a card, please bring a picture i.d. and one other proof of residence:
*a tax bill *rental lease *utility bill
Parents must show proof of residency to obtain a child’s card. Library cards are NOT issued to children under 8 years of age.
