Tutoring and Peer Tutoring

Peer Tutoring is when a peerleader is staffed in an extened learning classroom. A peer leader is a student who has been selected as a leader in the school and exceeds standards in thier academics, social interactions, organizational skills, and other areas that impact education. Peer leaders can also serve as mentors to our 6th and 7th grade students once a week for six weeks during extended learning time. Each Peer Leader will be equipped with resources to help students with problems they may be facing in the classroom. It is the relationship between peers that often help students become more successful during thier middle school years. If you should have any questions about this process, please feel free to call us so we can help you further in supporting your child's education.
