Isis

Isis is on Hamilton-Scipio Road (Ohio 129), west of Millville, between Gates Road on the east and Robinson Road on the west. It is on the line between Reily and Morgan townships. A post office was there from April 29, 1884, until June 29, 1888. Isis was the Egyptian goddess of fertility. "This was to be the site of a station on the proposed Cincinnati and Chicago Railroad, which failed in 1856, and on the Cincinnati Northern Railroad, which failed in 1889," according to A Self-Guided Driving Tour of Historic Morgan Township.

"It was also known as Skinnersburg and Roberts Corner."
