Hamilton Township - Warren Co

Hamilton Township -- named for Alexander Hamilton -- was one of the four original townships in Warren County when the county was formed in 1803. It is east of I-71 and Deerfield Township with the Little Miami River forming its western border. Existing and former communities within the township include Maineville, Hopkinsville, Cozaddale, Butterworth Station, Dallasburg, Murdoch and Zoar and part of South Lebanon. Maineville was formerly known as Yankeetown.
