Fairfield Golf & Community Center is at 2200 John Gray Road and west of Winton Road at the southern edge of the city. The 188-acre complex includes an 18-hole, 6,600-yard, par 70 municipal golf course and swimming pool and tennis courts, plus a community room and a senior citizens room. It also is the headquarters for the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Commission. Before it was acquired by the city, it was privately owned and operated and known as the Pleasant Run Country Club. Fairfield Greens North Trace, 2605 Augusta Boulevard, a nine-hole executive course, opened May 1, 2002.
