Dixie Dale

Dixie Dale or Dixiedale was a residential subdivision southeast of Lindenwald which was annexed to Hamilton in 1919. It was east of present Van Hook Avenue, north of Corwin Avenue and west of Dixie Highway (Ohio 4), including parts of the present streets of Hooven, Clinton, Chase, Tiffin, Zimmerman and Putnam. The subdivision name suggested its proximity to the Dixie Highway. (See Dixie Highway.)
