Cox Homestead

Cox Homestead, near Ohio 744 and Oxford-Middletown Road, Jacksonburg, was the birthplace of three-term governor, congressman and 1920 presidential candidate James M. Cox. The house, which dates back to 1820, is maintained as a private museum, open by appointment only. (See Jacksonburg.)
