Combs Memorial Park

Combs Memorial Park, or Combs-Jaycees Park, is a 149-acre Hamilton park along the Great Miami River north of the Two Mile Creek dam and east of North B Street. Hamilton City Council named the area in October 1961 in memory of James G. Combs, 26, who lost his life March 15, 1961, in the river while trying to rescue a three-year-old boy who had been involved in a boating accident.
