Brittany Heights

Brittany Heights, said Historian George Crout, "is a large subdivision which is located in north Monroe. Since opening in 1961, it has grown through a series of additions, almost reaching to Todhunter Road. It was named for the historical province of France -- Brittany -- with streets reflecting its beautiful images of a country estate, Fox Run, Ravenwood, Heatherwood, etc. Its access street, Deneen, honors the name of a pioneer Monroe family."
