We will once again be performing a holiday show for the elementary school students this December! This will be a joint production with Mrs. Elkins' drama class. We are excited to present:

Course Description
In this performance-based course, students will be introduced to the art of physical and vocal expression through acting, improvisation, and scene study. Students will participate in theater games, movement, role-play, and puppetry. All exercises and games will develop ensemble and individual performance skills. In addition, this course will conclude with a public performance, involving the students in all aspects of the production. 


 

Rules of the Stage


1.      Be on time!

2.    Sit in your assigned seat until you are called up to do the class warm up.

3.    The warm up and cool down are to be done in reflective silence unless instructed otherwise.

4.   Stay in the designated areas only. (stage and first two rows of seats in the auditorium)

5.    100% participation is expected by everyone in every activity.

6.    Treat each other with respect and support one another.

7.    Work as an ensemble.

8.    Listen when others are talking.

9.    Offer only constructive criticism if you are told to do so.

10.    Only touch a prop if you are instructed to do so.

11.    Stay positive.

12. Stay focused.

13.  Have fun!

Drama class meets in the auditorium. 
Line up outside the stage door. Do no enter without Mrs.Peltier. Please dress in clothing and shoes that will allow you to move.
