Meet the Teachers

Meet Davis
   This is my seventeenth year of teaching. I taught fourteen years at St. Paul's in Sedalia in each of grades kindergarten-fifth. I was a special ed aide and substitute teacher in La Monte three years ago, taught second grade after that, and am very happy to be teaching first grade this year.
   I was born a Husker football fan and grew up on a farm in southeast Nebraska. I graduated from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska.
   I am married to Steve. I have three children ages fourteen, eleven, and seven and one adult stepdaughter. We live in Sedalia.

Meet  Hemme
This is my fifth year teaching. My first year I was the Title 1 Reading teacher here at La Monte.
I am SO excited to be teaching 1st grade! This is my fourth year teaching 1st. 
I am from Bolivar, Missouri. I went to college at College of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri.
I met my husband at college and moved to Sweet Springs.
We have a 2 kids (Paxton is 2, Reese will be 1 in February). We live on a dairy farm.
