Reimagining Education in Oregon with Deputy Superintendent Salam Noor
The final community forum to Reimagine Education in Oregon will be held Tuesday, June 7 from 6-7:30pm in the Commons at Tualatin High School, located at 22300 SW Boones Ferry Rd. Tualatin, OR  97062. The event will be co-hosted by NW Regional Superintendent Rob Saxton and Deputy Superintendent Salam Noor.  For more information, please reference the ODE ESSA Invitation and Tualatin Community Forum Participant Agenda attached below.

Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium - Parents and Students Page

Learn more about the new Smarter Balanced state assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics.  These summative assessments are aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in English Language Arts and Mathematics, which were adopted by the state of Oregon in 2010.  The Smarter Balanced state tests will be implemented for the first time during the 2014-2015 school year and students in grades 3-8 and 11 will be assessed using these instruments.
