Welcome to Laikipia University Google Computer Science for High Schools 2017 (CS4HS 2017) project. The project entails Professional Development (PD) program for computer studies teachers in high schools from Laikipia, Nakuru, Nyandarua and neighboring counties in Kenya.

The aim of the program is to help teachers get the professional development and support they need to increase their confidence and competence in teaching computer science and computational thinking. 

Laikipia University PD program for computer science teachers in High Schools is one among 4 others selected by Google in Africa. The other three African countries with successful PD programs are South Africa, Senegal and Ghana.

It is a Great honor and Privilege for Laikipia University to be among the selected few in Africa to carry the Kenyan mantle in promoting computer science in High Schools.
