  • Storybird.com
I am excited because this six weeks we are getting to experience www.storybird.com with the 3rd-5th grade students. This website is awesome because it uses pictures as writing prompts or story starters to help students practice their writing skills. AND the students get to have fun creating their very own stories. Parents look for a letter coming home that has a class code for you to be able to sign in and read your young authors stories! Also, this is a great activity for your child this summer.
Let me know if you have any questions!

  • Welcome back!!
WOW! Summer is over and it is time to get back into learning and using our brains. I hope everyone had a great summer! This year we are going to learn some exciting things in computer class.

A question I will be asking the first few weeks of school is: How will you be APPlying yourself this year in your learning? I will post some of the comments I am getting from students later. In the meantime, I hope everyone has a productive and fruitful beginning to the school year!
