This title called "L'esprit des eaux" (The Spirit of Water) is an ambient instrumental music celebration of Water. It manifests in so many ways, at the core of our experiences, and our existence. The music may be characterized by some as "ambient soundscapes" or background music to be heard (if not listened to) at a low volume level and which "decorates" the sonic environment. Of interest also for those middle of the night waking moments when the mind needs a bit of settling down.
Breathe, Relax, Dream

Music (c) 2021 Ron Charron (a.k.a.: Kuutana)

Production Notes:
Listeners familiar with the works of Robert Fripp (Water Music II), Let the Power Fall, and with Brian Eno (No Pussyfooting, and Evening Star Albums)  may find similarities in the style for track# 3 "Sunset Reflections". These artists have had a very significant influence on a sub-genre of ambient music which is characterized by the use of evolving loops which create background soundscapes.

  - Dreamtime 0:45:34 to 0:51:23

Thanks to Mick Garlick for producing such a well crafted program, and of course, for introducing my material to your listeners!

The following program description is from Stephen Hill and Steve Davis of The Hearts of Space:

PGM NOTE : a journey to luminous realms and etheric planes

INTRO : PYTHAGORAS was the ancient Greek philosopher who taught that the cosmos is constructed of spheres, and that air (or a transparent mist called aether) was the arche or substratum of everything — thus the word archetype. In 19th century Victorian science, the luminiferous ether was a medium for the propagation of light. In the early 20th century, the Theosophists and Rosicrucians theorized an etheric plane — a nonmaterial level of reality above the physical plane.

When applied to music, ethereal means subtle, airy and light — immaterial and weightless. It's a word often applied to electronic music, where the sounds are not produced by physical instruments and have an abstract, immaterial quality.

On this transmission of Hearts of Space...we push off from the bright spaces and watery sounds of spring, journey into rarified realms of light and space, and return to verdant images of spring — on a program called ETHEREA.

With the change of the seasons, the falling of leaves and morning frost - the quieter times have started again to surface. Time spent walking by the rivers and creeks in the summer become a refuge in memory, seeking a new home, finding its way into music.

You may share the vision and listen to Canyon Mist using the player on this page.
Happy dreams.
