Meet Mrs. Stringer!

My name is Karen Stringer. This is my 12th year  working in the Kuna School District. I have been at Crimson Point as the Librarian, since the doors opened in August of 2007. I love being the librarian at Crimson Point. My experience as a librarian has now been for 25 years. My husband and I raised our children in Cascade, Idaho before moving to Elgin, Oregon and then to Nampa, Idaho, where we now reside. We have 4 grandchildren, 2 living in Idaho with our daughter and son-in-law and 2 living in Sterling, Illinois with our son and daughter-in-law. I was born and raised in Sterling, Illinois until marrying my husband and moving to McCall, Idaho. I really enjoy working in Kuna, at Crimson Point Elementary. Some of my favorite hobbies are: reading (of course) camping, quilting, and spending time with family and friends. What an awesome job; to be a librarian, to read and choose what books to purchase for the library. I love my job!  A couple of my favorite series are: "Percy Jackson" Series, "Fablehaven" Series, "The Name of This Book is Secret" Series, and "Michael Vey" Series. I love Fantasy, Adventure, and Suspenseful Genre' books. A few of my favorite authors are: Rick Riordon, Mary Downing Hahn, Peg Kehret, and Brandon Mull.    Happy Reading!!
