For more than 100 years, the Kearney Public Library has been a treasured resource for residents of central Nebraska. Today, the Kearney Public Library Foundation is seeking contributions to support a library expansion and renovation project, which will ensure Kearney residents will enjoy this vital community resource for years to come.

Completion of Phase I

Kearney Public Library has completed the Phase I of the library expansion and renovation project! Phase I includes a new youth section, fiction room and computer lab.

Phase II of the project is the complete renovation of the old part of the Library and will be completed in early 2012. Phase II will include such features as a new nonfiction area, larger meeting rooms, group study rooms, a Kearney history/genealogy area and a coffee area.
