Muayad Bahnam Elias Allous is a lecturer of Soil Science and Water Resources (Irrigation and Drainage for Agricultural Engineering) at Koya University. Iraqi, born in Mosul 21/11/1952, married, three children.

Mr Allous, was joined the work at Koya University since June 2006 coming from Mosul University, having a good experience of research and teaching in Irrigation and Drainage, Soil Physics and Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulic Equipment, computer, AutoCAD, SPSS (Statistics), Engineering Mechanics (Statics), and Remote Sensing and GIS. The recent work was with Agricultural Machinery and Forestry Departments ie. Agricultural machinery and related science was the main subject of experience. The computer application is commonly used with good and some perfect skill in teaching advance and knowledge development.

The initial inspiration in the research was while the working in soil study and hydrological investigation for designing the irrigation and drainage projects, at The Soil Study and Design Bureau and the Establishment of Design and Research at the Ministry of Water Resources in Republic of Iraq, for a fifteen years. And ten years expert in Erecting (Mechanical, Electrical works), operating and maintaining the modern irrigation systems (Linear and Center Pivot Systems) in Al Jazira Irrigation Project and The General State of The Equipment and Machines, and design many limited irrigation projects. Got manager position of the Al-Khorayef Industrial and Equipments Company (Saudi), of Mosul branch through the Government plan of the National Modernize of The Irrigation Technics. Art was the my first inspiration since childhood, and I'm a member of the Iraqi Calligraphers Association, and Painters, participated in numerous art galleries. Now I am teaching the Freehand Drawing for the first and second stages of Architectural Department, and giving the Carpentry Workshop at the Faculty of Engineering at Koya University.
