The Course

The course in Modern Drama is designed to help 4thYear students to be introduced to essential information and
details concerning Modern English Drama during these twentieth century. Some necessary activities inside classroom is required to activate the
students to think critically, freely and scholarly. This course is divided into two semesters. The period of each semester is roughly fourteen weeks. The first semester deals with major movements in the modern theatre and a detailed discussion of Eugene O'Neill's Hairy Ape.. The Second semester is intended to be primarily about the theater of the Absurd detailed discussion of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot. Ultimately, the course help the students to get more experience in discussing drama and it helps to build their critical sense of how playwrights thing in the 20th century.
