The Koinonia Academy Concert Choir is a group of vibrant Catholic youth who are committed to their faith, and spreading that faith through music.  Every student in the high school is a member of the choir.
The choir repertoire includes great choral works, American spirituals, the works of modern composers, music written by friends of the choir, and pieces chosen for the particular audience.
The Koinonia Academy Concert Choir does not limit its focus to excellence in music.  Students give personal testimony to God's action in their lives.  Choir members enthusiastically share their Catholic faith - with anyone! - and especially with other teens.
The Choir has also hosted countless parish retreats and CCD programs, sung for numerous TV Masses, and performed for groups such as Legatus (an association of Catholic Business Leaders) and the Order of Malta. The Koinonia Academy Choir is available for a variety of performances and/or ministry opportunities throughout the year.

Every student in the high school is a member of the choir and participates in regular concerts and an annual tour.  During the tour choir members perform beautiful music in many different venues, perform evangelistic skits and share their faith. The purpose of this course is to provide students with experience in the performing arts, teach the value and influence of music in our lives and how it can be used as a part of evangelistic outreach.  Since music is a major influence in modern life and works directly on each person's spirit, meticulous care is given to selection of choral literature performed.  Major areas of concentration are choral masterpieces, modern religious choral music, spirituals and liturgical music.

Every choir member is encouraged to participate in all choral activities to the best of his or her abilities:  the results are beautiful, memorable performances.
