How to Apply

The Cultural Events Committee welcomes applications from faculty seeking funds for cultural programming such as lectures, readings, concerts, and other events on campus.  Read about the funds we administer.  To apply, see the link under Faculty Resources on the Knox College website.

The CEC does not normally supply the entire budget for an event. Successful proposals typically demonstrate that co-sponsorship has already been sought from relevant funding bodies on campus. Priority is given to events of broad interest across the campus community, to events that tie in to courses concurrently offered, and to events that will be well publicized on campus.

The CEC will consider proposals for events up to a year in advance; we review proposals in the second and seventh weeks of each term. However, proposals and requests for responses outside this schedule may be considered; please explain the reason for your special request.
