Cancelled - Using Standards to Guide Instruction and Assessment

GRADE LEVELS: 5-12
PRESENTER: Kate Schaffer - KMLHS

Description: Considering the basic format of Wiggins and McTighe's Understanding by Design, this sectional will explore how to use standards to drive specific instructional and assessment choices.  We will examine an examples of lessons and assessments within the context of an UBD unit.  Then we will break into groups to create mini-lessons that help students work toward proficiency on a specific standard.
