PRESENTER:  Terri Krueger

Teaching Critical Thinking/Problem-Solving Skills Through Mediation
In this sectional we will look at defining critical thinking skills, what mediation looks like, and exploring making the shift from teacher to mediator. We will talk about some ideas to help your students become better thinkers and tools to help you encourage them and you on this journey.

Terri Krueger was a WELS classroom teacher for 27 years. In 2005, the Lord led her to resign her call and refocus her work to helping those who struggle to learn. She became an Educational Therapist through the National Institute for Learning Development (NILD). While in this training, she also began her training as a mediator in the Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment program- a program to teach critical thinking skills. Now she works with students from early childhood through the elderly. Her present clientele includes students from elementary school to teens to professional adults.
