"LEARNING FOR ALL, ALL FOR LEARNING!"

The Maryanna Rhemann Library is open to all students and teachers. Students have access to our web-based library catalog, as well as a number of licensed databases.

Students in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st grade come to the library every week. Students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade come every two weeks for a lesson, but the library is open for check-in/check-out every day.

All students may return to the library to check out another book any time they have finished a book. Instruction in library usage, digital citizenship, and grade level curriculum is coordinated with subject teachers as needed.

LIBRARY MISSION STATEMENT

The library provides an engaging, safe space for our Kuehnle Koalas to explore, learn, and create. We support students' curricular needs in addition to building a life-long love of reading. Our library is the heart of the school and belongs to everyone! We serve students, parents, and staff as we motivate our students to reach their full potential.

KUEHNLE CORE VALUES

  • Educational Excellence
  • Intentional Instruction
  • Collaborative Community

Student Google Account Changes

As of July 8, 2015, all student usernames for their Google accounts have changed. Instead of "sxxxxxx(student ID)@es.kleinisd.net," the new username will be sxxxxxx@students.kleinisd.net. This will allow students to keep the same email address throughout their time in Klein. All existing documents will be transferred to the new account. Students will retain their current passwords until the week before school starts, at which time all passwords will be reset.
