Thank you for your interest in attending the Kiski Cavalier/Saucony and Gingerbread Man Running Company XC Invitational! We have a great course (marked with flags, chutes, and double paint lines) and great competition. Below you will find the race schedule. Please be prompt and plan accordingly so we can run an efficient meet.

11:00 AM Girls Varsity Top 8 Race
11: 45 AM Boys Varsity Top 8 Race
12:30 PM Boys Junior Varsity Race

Entries: All entries must be completed on Penn-track.
Course: 5000 Meters (3.1 Miles) at scenic Northmoreland Park in Westmoreland County. We are returning to the original course located by Pavilion #8.
Entry Fee:
$100 for Girls Team (8 Varsity Runners Maximum)
$100 for Boys Team (8 Varsity Runners Maximum)
$5.00 for each JV Runner (Unlimited)
$75 for Girls Junior High Team (8 Runners)
$75 for Boys Junior High Team (8 Runners)
$5.00 for each additional runner beyond eight
$20.00 for individuals to enter without a full team.
*Please be aware that we want to offer the best experience possible for the kids while still covering our cost. At this cost it covers all of our expenses with no profit. The only money we are going to make is on our tee-shirt sale. Head coaches! It is your responsibility to verify your entries and make the correct payment.

Results: Results will be posted at the Gingerbread Man Running Company website.
Parking: Bus Parking will be on-site at the soccer parking area just beyond Pavilion #8 Parking.
Spectators: Spectator parking is at Pavilion #7. Handicap parking is at Pavilion #8.
Awards: In the varsity races the top 20 will receive a customized medal. The top AAA and the top AA/A teams for boys and girls will receive a customized banner. In the junior high races the top 20 will receive a customized medal. The top boys and girls teams will receive a customized banner. The top 15 junior varsity girls and boys will receive a customized medal. The meet director can change the number of awards based on the number of entries.
T-Shirts: Custom designed invitational t-shirts will be sold.

Restrooms and Garbage: There are Park restrooms located throughout the facility and also Port-a-Johns. Each team should bring garbage bags. We are guest of the park and would like to continue to use this facility.
Race Management and Scoring: Runners are instructed to follow the course line, marker arrows, marker flags and cones throughout the course. General Instructions regarding the cones and course markings:
Run between any PAIRS of cones or flags; but if the line directs you between a single cone or flag and the road, stay between the marker and the road!
Various points of the course will be marked with two white lines. Stay between the lines.
After walking the course please inform race management of any confusing areas on the course. We will do our best to alleviate your concerns. Otherwise, it is the responsibility of the runner to know the course.
