KHS Science Club

Membership in the KHS Science Club is open to all students. Dues are $5 and t-shirts are $10.
The club's goals are to foster the enjoyment of science and to provide service projects for the benefit of KISD students and the community.
Our major activities are:   Saturday for Science
                                   Carter Blood Centers blood drives
                                   Spring field trip
We meet the  2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month in room 207 at 7:30 am.
 Science club  visited 3rd grade classes on Friday, Oct. 14th to demonstrate physical properties and changes by making comets.
5 BLOOD DRIVES    = 273 donations
We received the Best in Class Award 2012 for medium sized schools. We will have another 5 drives this year. Make sure you have enough iron :eat red meat, beans and dark green veggies to boost your iron count.
