About Coach Kirkpatrick

I graduated from Kilgore in 2003 and returned to begin teaching in 2012.  I am the head softball coach, freshmen volleyball coach, and Health Science Technology teacher!
I attended Southern Arkansas University where I played on the Lady Mulerider softball team and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training and Bachelor's Degree in Education.  Upon graduation I worked for Trinity Mother Frances as an athletic training graduate assistant during the 2008-09 school year and head athletic trainer, head softball coach, and health teacher at West Rusk High School for the 2009-2010 school year.  In the fall of 2010 I moved to Denton, TX where I attended graduate school at Texas Woman's University and worked as an assistant softball coach.  I graduated in 2012 with a Master's of Science in Sports Management.  During the 2013-14 school year I took classes at University of North Texas and completed a Career and Technology Education Certificate!  I also earned a Master's of Education in Health and Kinesiology from UT Tyler, graduating in 2015.

I got married on May 10, 2014 to Kenny Kirkpatrick, owner of Superior Plumbing.  We are looking forward to many great years here in Kilgore, TX!
