Welcome! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this school year. I love teaching first grade. First graders are like little sponges. They are always eager to soak up knowledge and seek new adventures. Our school year will be fun, creative, meaningful, and adventurous. Mrs. Applegate and I are teaming up this school year. She will teach your child Math, Social Studies, and Science. I will teach Reading, Phonics, Grammar, and Writing. It's going to be an exciting year!

Parents I invite you to be a big part of your child's education. Show your child that you are interested in his/her school assignments and in his/her homework. Together we can make a big difference in your child's academics. Thank you for sharing your child with me this school year.
