Kinoulton & Hickling St Luke’s Church.
The St Luke’s Benefice of Kinoulton, Hickling and Upper Broughton.
The St Luke’s Group of Churches.
Good Friday 15 April 2022
If you would like a gentle ramble from Upper Broughton to Kinoulton via Hickling,
our three churches are pleased to invite you to our annual Walk of Faith.
We will leave Upper Broughton around noon after a short reflective service and walk (downhill) to Hickling where lunch of soup and homemade bread await us, followed by a hymn. We then continue (on the flat) our walk from Hickling along the canal towpath to Kinoulton, for hot cross buns, hot drinks,
a short reflection and time for quiet prayers.
Easter Sunday 17 April 2022
Easter Sunday is the day Jesus arose from his tomb
to bring the good news of the resurrection, two thousand and twenty two years ago.
Our Easter Sunday service will be celebrated at 10.00am at Hickling Church as a Benefice Service of Holy Communion with family orientated activities for children and an Easter Egg Hunt.
We hope this will be a service to be enjoyed by all and will be followed by refreshments and a time to chat.
The Ministry Team and I wish you all a very Happy Easter.
Rev Maggie.

May I offer you some comfort in these difficult times in the words of
The Archbishop of Canterbury, The Right Reverend Justin Welby
Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen
Be Safe, Keep Smiling and in the words of Our Lord “Love One Another as I love You”.
Reverend Maggie
