Parish Councillors Needed

posted Mar 25, 2019, 3:15 AM by kathy Freeston
In May there are elections for Parish Councillors.  Kinoulton needs 7 Councillors - could one of them be you?  If you are interested in getting involved in helping make decisions that affect our community then please contact the Parish Clerk Julie Holland for more details.  Alternatively you can speak to any of the current Councillors and you can find their details on the Parish Council Page of the website.  The Parish Council webpage has an overview of what the duties of a Councillor are and there is a document at the bottom of this page for you to read too.

The Parish Council meets once a month for 10 months of the year and is the voice of the village to local government.  Without our Parish Council we don't have that direct contact and influence but it needs people to give some of their time and energy.

Please consider what you could offer to the village and get in touch, but act quickly as the deadline for nomination forms to be handed in to Rushcliffe Borough Council is 3rd April
