Gala Concert 24th June, Kinoulton

posted Jun 5, 2017, 1:49 PM by kathy Freeston
On Saturday 24th June the Loughborough Male Voice Choir are performing a Gala Concert in Kinoulton Village Hall.  The evening begins at 6.45 with a complimentary welcome drink and appetisers, and the bar will be open before the performance commences at 7.30 pm. The Loughborough Male Voice Choir have just returned from a hugely successful tour of Belgium, and we are so lucky that our own Dai Roberts has talked them in to performing in our village hall.

Not only do we have the male voice choir, and an excellent male soloist - Lyndon Gardner - we are also so lucky to have a superb soprano as a guest soloist - Caroline Sharpe - who has a particular gift for encouraging those who are shy of singing to find their voice - so at some point there will be a bit of a sing-along, especially as the last number is: “Is this the way to Amarillo”.

It is a wonderful programme, not at all stuffy.  A good time is guaranteed for all.  Tickets are £12 per person, including food and a welcome drink. All profits will go to the ongoing refurbishment of Kinoulton Village Hall.

You can contact Village Hall Committee Members to buy a ticket, or contact anne.morrell@btinternet.com.
