Hello! My name is Megan Easton and I'm so happy that your child is in my class. Here is a little information so you can get to know me.

I've been apart of the Ledgewood family for 14 years. I even did my student teaching at Ledgewood! This school is my home away from home. I love the people I work with and the families that have come and gone really have a special place in my heart.

I'm originally from Bourbonnais, Illinois. This lovely small town is located 2.5 hours southeast of here. I come from a family of four and I'm what they call the 'baby." I am the youngest in my family and there is quite an age gap between my older siblings and I. Let's just say I keep them young! : ) I attended Illinois State University and moved to Rockford to help Nanny my two oldest nephews. It is in Rockford where I applied for my student teaching position and ended up coming to Ledgewood. 

I married my husband in 2010 and I have four children. I have a Step Daughter, Teryn, who is 18. I have been in her life since she was four. She won me over from the moment I looked at her. I have Delaney who is 9. She will be in Fourth Grade this year. I don't think I'm prepared for that just yet! Henry is 7 and he will be going into Second Grade. He is very adventurous and his laugh warms my heart. My last child is Rylee. She is five and starting in Kindergarten this year as well! These four keep us busy and laughing. There is never a dull moment at our house! 

I am very honored to be teaching your child and my mission is to provide your child with a safe and comfortable learning environment so they can reach their maximum potential. This is what I strive for because it is what I want for all of my own children.
