About Me

My name is Tina Cuppini; I have been teaching in the Kinnikinnick district since 2009.  I am a special education resource teacher for kindergarten and first grade age students.  I have mainly worked with students in these two grade levels.  I have also worked with the Winnebago Co-Op to teach a summer school program for students receiving early childhood program services.

My educational background includes completion of the special education teacher licensure program (kindergarten-age 21) at Northern Illinois University.  My experience with individuals with special abilities also includes working as an assistant for adults with intellectual disabilities through Opportunity House, working as a house worker for adults with intellectual disabilities, and working as an individual assistant for a girl with cerebral palsy.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy swing dancing, reading, hiking, being crafty, and watching movies.  I also participate in volunteer work through serving on a board of directors for Forest City Swing.

I am looking forward to getting to know my students and having a great school year!
