Our aim is to encourage an increased understanding and enjoyment of mathematics amongst our students. We are interested in understanding how our students learn and strive to explore new ideas and possibilities. We share and evaluate our teaching and learning strategies and practices, contributing to the discussion of developments in mathematics education at all levels. Numeracy is not only a subset of mathematics; it is also a life skill which permeates and supports all areas of learning, allowing young people access to the wider curriculum. All teachers have responsibility for promoting the development of numeracy.
