Competitions and Tournaments!

posted Jun 5, 2012, 7:59 PM by Sean Gurr

On Monday we annouced the winners of our Wurm Online Screenshot competition. It certainly wasn't an easy choice to make, there were so many great entries. But finally we selected an entry from Yaga from Germany to be our winner. Our Runners up were Stargrace and MrGary. Yaga will receive a Customised Glass Stine, Customised Mouse Mat and a Sheet of Wurm Online Stickers! Whilst the two runners up both get a customised stubby holder. These will all be shipped out later this week and you can keep any eye out on our Facebook gallery for pictures of these items in the coming days here

Perfectly timed after the wrapping up of this competition, we have now become official sponsors of the  4th Akhenaten Tournament on the Independence server. As such we have donated a little trophy to the event for the Grand Champion. You can sign up for this event on the Wurm Online forums and make sure to stay posted by keeping in touch with our Facebook page as to any changes or news with the event!

Price Changes!

Now that we've been getting orders we've had some good data from which we can better examine our business model. The only problem we have had is we found we were undercharging by quite alot when it came to mailing costs. As such we've adjusted our mailing prices for some of our larger items from $4.95 to $9.95. We've also reduced the total cost of some of our items such as sticker sheets and Stubby holders. Due to their demand we've been able to reduce the cost.
Looking into the future we're currently looking into bringing in some new items to add to the shop so keep you eyes out for some new stuff in the coming weeks and if things continue to go well some further reduced prices on other items! Also don't forget to enter our competition on the Wurm Forums! The first prize is a customised gift pack valued at over $100 so make sure not to miss out!

As always, happy gaming guys'n' gals!

Website Complete?

posted May 22, 2012, 3:40 PM by Sean Gurr   [ updated May 22, 2012, 7:40 PM ]

The website is finally at the stage where i'm comfortable starting some promotion and hype. We will be constantly polishing it over the next week or so no doubt but the shop is fully operational. We have also received our first ship of stock early this week so we're ready for orders and a few orders we got when Rolf made his blog post will be shipped out late this afternoon.
I also couldn't resist making myself a mouse mat, came out pretty well I think and i'm using as I type this. (Pictured right)
We've also got our facebook page up and running so make sure to hit us up and give us a like! Twitter and G+ will be coming in the next week or so not to mention the celebration launch competition we'll be running on the Wurm Forums when they are back up. So there will be plenty going on in the coming weeks so make sure to keep your eyes out and you could win some great ingame and merchandise prizes!

As always, happy Gaming guys n' gals!

New Logo for Killstreak!

posted Apr 2, 2012, 6:59 PM by Sean Gurr   [ updated May 20, 2012, 1:21 AM by Matthew Ananin ]

We are very happy to finally have our brand new logo which we received early last week. Personally I think it looks great and captures the real essence of what we are all about. I have to give a big thank you to Rob Stevens from Rob Stevens Graphix for fitting us into his busy schedule and making us such a fantastic logo (and on such short notice too!) We currently have two variations of the logo; a Blue background Logo inverted colour logo which we'll be using on the site and a white background colour logo which will be added to our letterheads and other templates.

Both variations of our logo will be available on all our products, such as mouse mats and decals. If anyone else is interested in getting a logo, picture or any kind of graphical work done we highly recommend Rob Stevens and you can check out his website and work here. It is also worth mentioning that our initial expectation of trading by the 15th of March was overly optimistic and we are currently waiting on some red tape to be out of the way until we can commence business. At this stage I think we can expect to see things up and running a week or so after the Easter Long weekend in Australia. We are certainly very keen and ready to go as soon as we get the green light. We look forward to doing business with you!

As always, happy gaming guys 'n' gals!

Killstreak Merchandise Partnered with Code Club AB

posted Mar 5, 2012, 6:15 PM by Sean Gurr   [ updated Apr 2, 2012, 7:00 PM ]

Killstreak Merchandise has now signed a contract with Code Club AB to use the Wurm Online logo and devices for our merchandise.

As our first partnership company we are very excited and pleased to be working with Rolf Jannson creator of Wurm online and CEO of Code Club. We hope that this partnership will be mutually profitable for both parties that the Wurm Online community will embrace these changes. We aim to be highly involved within the Wurm Online community running various promotions and even the prospect of Wurm Online player meets later on in the year.

This partnership means for us that we are now able to add some great artwork and products to our list that appeal to the specific demographic . All of the Killstreak Merchandise partnership have all been players of Wurm Online at some stage so we all understand how the game runs and are in a much better position to understand what players want and how to give it to them! As we continue development on the website and various other aspects of the business we expect the store to be fully operational and taking orders around the 15th of March at this stage. Although we do accept the possibility of unforeseen problems arising but we can be optimistic.

Thank you to all the people who have given us all help and support during this process and thank you to Rolf Jannson for giving us this opportunity!
Happy gaming guys n gals!
