Back for seconds at St Johns College in Hamilton

I was so impressed by St Johns College once again as the Teens Can Cook Kitchen set up for a busy two days.  We made French Crepes, Italian Gnocchi and Middle Eastern Rice Pilaf


We talked about French food, Italian Food and of course what is in our back yards, what do we call NZ food.  There was no shortage of Sous Chefs as they all gave it a go on the Teens Can Cook Kitchen, we learnt that a Sous Chef is a French word for second in charge, we learnt that they eat frogs legs and snails in France and that we have some of the best food in 


New Zealand………Kiwifruit, Pavlova, Kumara, Manuka Honey, Whitebait, Mussels, Crayfish, Paua, Wild Pork and of course Pineapple Lumps !! 


The Teesn Can Cook Kitchen found the best tasters in New Zealand at St Johns College and there was no shortage of good manners, respect, politeness and mana as these boys and girls gave it a go on the Teens Can Cook Kitchen
