VETERANS’ DAY ASSEMBLY

Parents are welcome to attend our district-wide Veterans’ Day Assembly will be held on Wednesday, November 7th, at 1:15 p.m. at Kettle Falls Middle School.  There will be patriotic songs and poems shared by all of the  schools.  The community is invited to attend.  Please invite all Veterans to come and be recognized at our assembly.  Elementary children are asked to dress in red; if he/she still has the Run For America shirt from last year, that would be a great choice.

This year our  students are working to earn a huge flag that will hang from the middle school gym and be lowered at all events.  Students may purchase a star for $1.00 each. They will add a Veteran’s name to the star.  These stars will be displayed at the Veterans’ Day assembly.
