AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM

CONGER, MILLS, PELICAN, PONDEROSA, ROOSEVELT, AND KLAMATH UNION

ACADEMICS HOMEWORK ENRICHMENT SNACKS

5 days a week for 2.5 hours a day

After school transportation available to those students who currently ride a bus

Fees for individuals or families 

Activities begin after school:  SEPTEMBER 8, 2014

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES: focus on learning topics, tutoring and homework linking to the school- day goals, particularly in language arts, math, reading.

ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES :include recreation, sports, movement, outdoor games, health and fitness, arts and crafts; project based hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math.

PROVIDED BY: a combination of program staff and community based providers who are qualified and well trained.  These organizations include CFSS: Citizens for a Safe School, KYDC: Klamath Youth Development Center, Junior Achievement, SMART: Start Making a Reader Today, KCC Klamath Community College, OIT: Oregon Institute of Technology.
