What is Google Apps?

Google Apps is an integrated communication collaboration solution that will enable students and faculty members to use email, calendars, chat and more through Google Apps for Education.  It will be the official mode of communication between the University and its students, staff & faculty.



What can I use this account with?

Your KeMU Google Apps account will enable you to access all the standard Apps provided by Google such as:
  1. @stu.kemu.ac.ke email addresses.
  2. Google Docs
  3. Google Calendar
  4. Google Groups
  5. Google Sites
  6. Google Drive


How do I access my account?


Students from Nairobi & Meru Campuses should login to their student portal accounts via http://online.kemu.ac.ke

Under the Profile Section, click on the link "My KeMU Google Apps Student Account"

You will be presented with instructions, your username, your password as well as the link to login to your student email and other services.

It tells me my account has not been created, what do I do?

If your account has not been created, proceed on to the Account Request Form.

Students from Mombasa, Nakuru, Nyeri, & Kisii Campuses as well as Maua, Marimanti & Meru Town Centers may proceed directly to the Account Request Form to have their accounts created for them.


I have accessed my account but I have forgotten my password.  What do I do?

I am still not able to access my KeMU Google Apps account, where can I get help?

I have accessed my KeMU Google Apps account, but my login details are not in my student portal, how come?

It may take up to 72 hours for your account details to reflect in your student portal after you login for the first time.  If there is any problem, contact  webmaster@kemu.ac.ke
