Welcome to the Saturday Stream Snapshot Collaboration Site.  The Saturday Stream Snapshot Program is a Citizen Volunteer Monitoring Program sponsored by the Greenacres Foundation Water Quality Project, LLC. Citizens monitor water quality on the second Saturday of the month annually from March to November. The program was formed to get a "snapshot" of water quality conditions in the Lower Little Miami River and its tributaries.

The main purpose of the program is to assess water quality, identify any issues that may arise and share this information with responsible parties who can address these issues.

We are supported by citizen volunteers who collect and analyze water samples. Chemical tests include pH, turbidity, conductivity, total phosphates, nitrates, conductivity, bacteria and chlorophyll. The data are entered into the Little Miami Watershed Volunteer Monitoring Database which is made available for planning and environmental protection activities.

For the returning volunteers, welcome again to our collaboration site. Please log in to gain access to all the facilities.
