Tianying Yun

Tianying Yun, an associate professor of Jilin University, is now a Chinese teacher at Kean University New Jersey. She is doing her doctoral degree studies at Jilin University. She also holds a master degree from there on EFL and Applied Linguistics. Her research interests are postmodern narrative studies on William Faulkner's works, archetypal criticism, psychoanalysis and culture studies, and cognitive language teaching. 


So far she has edited four books and published over ten papers in several magazines, such as 1. Different Landscapes: On Ethan Coen and Joel Ceon's No Country for the Old Men (second author) Literature of Drama (2010); 2. The Cultivation of College Students' Abilities of Intercultural Communication during the Course of Listening Comprehension Education (chief author Heilongjiang Higher Education Studies (2009); 3. Promote College Students' Listening Comprehension via Cognitive Strategies (second author) Journal of Changchun Normal University Humanities and Social Sciences (2009); 4. Redemption in Sound and Fury Social Science Front (2008); 5. Problems and Reforms of Chinese College Foreign Language Education (chief author) Forum of the East, South Korea( 2008).

For the academic years of 2009 and 2010, Professor Xu Chunyan, lecturer of English at Jilin University in China, taught Chinese language courses.
