PE Students - This is a reminder to contact Project Excel for your Spring 2013 Accommodations. Professors do not have to honor accommodations beyond TWO WEEKS after the start of the semester. Project Excel Students: Interested in a possible job opportunity? The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is recruitment and referral program that connects federal and private sector employers nationwise with highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove theri abilities in the work place through summer or permanant jobs (wrp.gov). The WRP has provided over 6,000 employment opportunites since 1995 to students or recent graduates with disabilities. WRP is coming to our campus Fall 2013 to interview possible candidates.
The requirements are as follows:
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Current full-time undergraduate or graduate student with a disability OR
- Students with a disability that have graduated on or after October 2011
If you meet the requirements and are interested in this opportunity, please contact your mentor at Project Excel immediately and express your interest in signing up.
