JOIN US for CS4HS Week at Kean University
July 25-27, 2014
Perfect for: High school teachers, both in service and pre-service, experienced and novice.
Middle school teachers also welcome!
All events support of high school computer science and the anticipated new AP CS Principles course (expected AY2016-2017).
Please join us on campus in Union, NJ for the our annual CS4HS Workshop at Kean University. Through the generosity of our sponsors, this professional development event is FREE to participants, however, space is limited.
CEUs and a stipend will be provided to individuals attending all four workshop days. Kean University is located outside of New York City, near Newark International Airport and Newark Penn Station (Amtrak), and central to the NY/NJ/PA/CT region. Hotels in the area include Homewood Suites Newark-Cranford, and Hilton-Newark Penn Station. NJ Transit connects Newark-Penn Station to Union Station next to Kean's campus.
Please note: due to the generosity of our supporters, a $150 stipend will be provided to teachers who complete this workshop, as well as CEU credits. The 2014 CS4HS@Kean event is funded by Google and the Verizon Foundation.

Dan Garcia will work with attendees, planning to teach BJC 2014-15, and beyond!
Baker Franke will provide insight into Chicago's effort, and plans for Code.org!
