Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship Program

Eligible for students who receive the Federal Pell grant, this program is intended to help students who are unable to participate in study abroad programs due to financial constraints.

Boren Scholarships

Funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), these scholarships provide up to $20,000 to undergraduate students from the US to study abroad in areas of the world that are underrepresented in study abroad.

BUTEX North American Scholarships

For students interested in Studying Abroad in the United Kingdom. This program encourages the exchange of information between the US and the UK as well as the promotion of UK higher education in the US.

Glimpse Correspondents Program Grants

In association with National Geographic, this program will grant $600 and editorial professional support to students specializing in Writing, Photography and Video as well as guaranteed publication in National Geographic Glimpse in print or online.

Hispanic College Fund

The HCF is the nation’s leading organization supporting Latino higher education. This organization offers an extensive variety of scholarships encompassing different types of students: High School students, community college students and both undergraduate and graduate students in traditional universities.

National Security Education Program (NSEP)

This is a government funded program focused on alternative Study Abroad options with emphasis on languages and countries not commonly available in conventional programs. For students who want to learn foreign languages critical to US interest.

Phi Kappa Phi

Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Programs are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Forty-five $1,000 grants are awarded each year.

Rotary International

This is a privately funded program aimed at furthering international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries and geographical areas.

United Negro College Fund

UNCF is the nation’s largest minority higher education assistance organization aiming at providing financial assistance to help more minorities attend school.
