Community Network Board
This board of sixteen designated community members meets quarterly to review the "big picture" of the Network's efforts. The board also reviews the contractual and fiscal management of KCCN&C’s funding.
Cascade Prevention Coalition
The mission of the Cascade Prevention Coalition (CPC) is to engage our community to prioritize factors which reduce the likelihood of children and youth being at risk; to direct and provide oversight and vision for the community members, families and youth; to promote a safe and wholesome place to live, work, and play for the youth of today and tomorrow. · The CPC represents schools, business, media, law enforcement, public health, youth-serving organizations, mental health providers, civic organizations, city and county government, youth, parents and volunteers from our community.
ACES and Resiliency Task Force
This group meets monthly to develop and implement strategies related to educating the community about the impact of trauma on the developing brain. The group focuses education efforts on neuroscience, epigenetics, ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences Study), and resiliency. This group works with schools, health systems, CWU, and other service providers in the community.
Love and Logic Facilitators Group
This devoted group of volunteers organizes a 7 session series of Love and Logic every Fall and Spring. This group meets as needed throughout the year.
Behavioral Health Continuum of Care Task Force
This group meets as needed to further assess and seek solutions for the gaps in mental health and chemical dependency services. Membership in this task force includes service recipients, schools, healthcare, mental health providers, chemical dependency providers,
