Coding Opportunity

Coding opportunity. Open to current sixth graders only. Looking for current sixth graders who are curious and hard-working. Meets twice a week for two hours with Jr. DevLeague http://www.jrdevleague.com/. Application required. Limited openings. Students should attend every session even on intercession. Start date: August 3. For more information, students should see Mrs. Fletcher in P-2 after school.

REMINDER REGARDING SALES ON CAMPUS 

Selling or being in the possession of any item (candies, musubi, slime, etc.) not authorized as a Kapolei Middle School fundraiser is prohibited and considered a  Class D offense (page 41 of the 2016-2017 Kapolei Middle School Parent Handbook).

Students found in violation may receive disciplinary action as outlined in Chapter 19.   - A. Mabrey

QUARTER 3 BUS PASS EXPIRATION DATES 
 
Yellow Track bus passes expire on Friday, March 10, 2017.

Green, Blue and Red Track passes expire on Monday, April 3, 2017.

Payments are due no later than the day before expiration.

ITEM DRIVE FOR HAWAIIAN HUMANE SOCIETY 

From Tuesday, February 14 until Friday, March 31 the Early Act Club will be accepting item donations for the Hawaiian Humane Society in P-13.  Items we need are:  bath towels, unopened peanut butter, shoe boxes, 9 volt batteries, ping pong balls, and more!  Come see Miss Masik in P-13 for an item list or to drop off your donations!      - A. KEIKI DAY CREATIVITY CONTEST 

Parents and Children Together, along with The Honolulu Star Advertiser, invites Oahu students in grades 1-12 to be a part of Parents and Children Together Keiki Day on Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Students are encouraged to submit original stories, poems, essays or artwork for the Keiki Day Creativity Contest.  Entries must relate to this year's theme, "Everyday Heroes", and be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017.

Two winners per grade will be selected, and his or her entry will be published in a special Keiki Day edition of The Honolulu Star Advertiser on Thursday, May 11, 2017.  Winning entries will also receive over $100.00 in cash and prizes.
