Can we pay the day of the Fair?

You may choose to pay your registration fee when you arrive at KSSEF. However, we encourage you to send in payment in advance to streamline check-in process that morning.

My Regional Fair required a different report structure than what is outlined on the KSSEF website. Which do I need to follow?

Although the Regional Fairs feed into KSSEF, exact requirements for reports and other documentation may vary between Regionals and State. When you arrive at KSSEF, please make sure your report follows the guidelines and structure on our website.

Are there different required forms for KSSEF compared to what I filled out for regionals?

Regional Fairs should have required the same forms that you will need to fill out for KSSEF. If your Regional had you fill out ISEF forms, there is no need to fill out anything else.

Students in 4th through 8th grade may either fill out the simplified forms on our website OR the ISEF forms. 4th – 8th Grade Forms:

Will teachers and parents be able to stay with students during judging?

Our judges value the opportunity to talk to students directly about their work, so we do not allow parents or teachers in the judging area while judges are present. We want to give students the chance to concentrate on presenting their findings to the judges while free from as many distractions as possible!  There will be a room available for Parents to wait in while judging is occurring.
