Welcome to the NPHS MIDI FILE page. Here you can listen to rehearsal music with your part highlighted or you can download the file to your computer by right-clicking and selecting "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As...".
To burn to CD (or add to mp3 player/ipod) you must first convert your MIDI file to MP3. You can do this by saving the MIDI file to your computer, then converting.
NOTICE: SmartScore is offering a new free midi player (16.5 MB) that allows you to see the music as you rehearse (like we do in class with the Smart Board). The download address is
  • To convert MIDI to MP3 in Itunes    Open MIDI file in itunes, then open "Edit/General/Import Settings... "and change "Import Using" to "MP3 Encoder". After doing so, you may right-click MIDI songs in your library and convert at will.
  • To convert online   Go to  Convert your audio file to MP3 in high quality with this free online MP3 converter. Just upload your music and download the MP3 in short time. You can also upload video files (e.g. from Youtube) and extract the audio track to MP3.
