  • Week 19: Soccer
    Welcome to Week 19!

This week we are going to start our soccer unit.  In particular, we will be working on and assessing our students ability to control a ball with their feet (dribbling).  For the younger grades we will be playing some small-sided games that get the kids used to using their feet to move a ball and to protect a goal (or object) without using the hands.  Older students will complete a self-assessment (what I call a 2-minute task) that will give themselves an idea of what they feel comfortable doing and what needs more practice.  Older students will also get into some games that will get them more experience using their soccer skills.

All in all it should be a fun week.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
